How to use it

Frequently asked questions

Do blank lines get numbered too?

Yes — every line in the box is numbered, including empty ones, so numbering stays aligned with the original. Remove blank lines first if you don't want them counted.

Can numbering start from a big number like 500?

Yes, any whole number works, and the zero-padded format widens automatically so 500, 501… stay aligned.
