About this Dice Roller

A pocket dice bag for games, decisions and tabletop sessions. Roll up to ten dice at once, choosing from the classic polyhedral set — d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, d20 — plus a d100 for percentile rolls. Six-sided rolls show real Unicode dice faces, and every roll reports the individual values, the total and the average.

How to use it

1. Choose how many dice to roll, from 1 to 10.
2. Pick the number of sides per die.
3. Click Roll the dice.
4. Read the faces, the individual values and the total.

Example

Rolling two d6 might show ⚃ ⚂ — values 4 and 3 — with a total of 7, the most common result for two dice.

Frequently asked questions

Are the rolls fair?

Each die uses an independent random draw, the same odds as a physical die. Over many rolls every face appears equally often.

What is a d100 used for?

Percentile rolls in tabletop games: the result is simply a number from 1 to 100, like rolling two ten-sided dice together.

Why is 7 the most common total for 2d6?

More combinations make 7 (1+6, 2+5, 3+4 and their mirrors) than any other total, so it comes up about one roll in six.
