About this Quotation Generator

This quotation generator turns your item list into a clean QUOTATION document with a quote number, tax, totals and an automatic valid-until date based on the number of validity days you enter. It is ideal for traders and service providers who send price quotes before an order is confirmed. Like every tool here, it works fully in your browser and stores nothing.

How to use it

1. Enter your business name, the client name, a quotation number and the date.
2. Set how many days the quote stays valid and any tax percentage.
3. Fill in up to five item rows with name, quantity and rate.
4. Click Generate quotation, then Print to hand it over or save it as a PDF.

Example

A quote dated 1 November with 15 validity days shows Valid until 16 November, and items totalling 50,000 with 0% tax show a quoted total of 50,000.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a quotation and an invoice?

A quotation is a price offer sent before the sale; an invoice is a payment demand sent after the goods or services are delivered. This tool makes the offer document.

How is the valid-until date worked out?

It adds your validity days to the quotation date. If you leave the date empty, no valid-until line is shown.
