💰 SIP Calculator
Estimate SIP returns: monthly investment, expected return and final maturity value.
About this SIP Calculator
A SIP (systematic investment plan) invests a fixed amount every month into a mutual fund. This calculator estimates what those monthly deposits could grow into at an expected annual return, showing the total you invest, the estimated gains and the final maturity value, assuming each deposit is made at the start of the month.
How to use it
- Enter the amount you invest every month.
- Enter the expected annual return and the number of years.
- Click Calculate to see the estimated maturity value.
Example
Investing Rs 5,000 per month at 12% expected return for 10 years: you invest Rs 600,000 and the maturity value is about Rs 1,161,695, with estimated gains of about Rs 561,695.
Frequently asked questions
Are SIP returns guaranteed?
No. Market returns vary year to year, so this is an estimate based on a steady assumed return, not a promise. Actual results can be higher or lower.
Why does the investment timing matter?
This calculator assumes deposits at the start of each month (annuity due), which is how most SIP estimates are shown. End-of-month deposits would give a slightly lower value.
What return rate should I assume?
Long-term equity funds in many markets have historically averaged around 10 to 12% a year, but past performance does not guarantee future returns. Try a few rates to see the range.
