Frequently asked questions

How does it simplify the answer?

It divides the numerator and denominator by their greatest common divisor (GCD), so 4/6 automatically becomes 2/3.

Can I use negative fractions?

Yes. Enter a negative numerator and the sign is carried through the calculation and shown on the final result.
